The Company

Whagaa Software Inc. was founded in September, 2002 by Erik Florio. Whagaa develops instructional software for use on handheld computing devices that provides safe and effective learning, is easy and fun to use, and dramatically reduces the cost of training. The company also creates customized software programs for specialized training content on multiple device platforms.

Whagaa's initial software product, GoLearn Fitness, focuses on personal fitness training. GoLearn Fitness puts fitness training knowledge directly into the hands of users at a small fraction of personal trainers’ fees. The product empowers users to set up the best fitness program to meet their goals, demonstrates proper form, explains appropriate range of motion for each exercise, guides users to change and advance their fitness routine on a regular basis, and it even tracks activities and progress as well as offering nutrition tips for fitness training.

The company is presently expanding its product line to include training applications in the areas of Action Sports, Hobbies, Home Repair, Auto Repair, Cooking, and More.

About the Founder

Erik Florio has more than 10 years experience in the physical fitness industry and 10 years in high tech working at Seagate Technology, Candescent Inc., and Routt & Associates. Erik has an interesting background with a dual career track having started work with Seagate Technology in 1986. Using his unique background in the corporate business and high tech recruiting world, along with his personal fitness training background, Erik came up with the idea for a mobile training solution which has evolved to the interactive information concept. Erik has always had a true entrepreneurial spirit and having the unique domain knowledge of personal training and his educational background makes a perfect combination of skills to develop Whagaa's mobile training software.
